Excel Media
Excel Entertainment has formed a joint venture with the Dubai-based Riva Group to form Excel Media. Excel Entertainment is an Indian film studio based in Mumbai. It was created by Farhan Akhtar, and Ritesh Sidhwani in 1999. The two have gone on to create several films under Excel's banner.
Riva Games was founded by Paul Roy, the founder and Chairman of The Riva Group of Companies. Established in 2002, The Riva Group of Companies now has a geographic presence that spans across the Middle East, The United States and Far East Asia. The Group has business interests in Media, Technology, Leisure and Entertainment.

Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani and Riva Group Chairman Paul Roy have collaborated to form Excel Media, a company dedicated to the creation of world-class original and mature content across multiple platforms from television and web to gaming. Excel Entertainment’s existing media library will also be exploited across various digital media.
